After returning home today from the NHC I went to the NTRA web page for any recent news. The "2010 NHC Tour Schedule" is up and there is one glaring omission.

At this years cocktail party I asked a Twinspires rep that I know, are there going to be any changes to this years "Twinspires Leaderbord Contest"? He gave me a blank stare followed by a comment something like ... It's not up to me ... Twinspires has not come to an agreement with the NTRA. We hope we will have it, but as of right now...

At the awards banquet I asked the NTRA rep about it and he indicated that they were still negotiating with TS and he seemed optimistically hopeful.

If Twinspires doesn't resign or obtain membership with the NTRA so they can satellite players into the NHC ..... now that's something to complain about!

We should not be losing online contests, we should be adding them. That would be a huge blow to

the players, especially the little guys if TWS and NTRA does not come to terms. Thanks for the info

The list posted is only a partial. The NTRA is still negotiating with several sites and tracks. There are also some new qualifiers being discussed and details being worked out. PATIENCE FOLKS, PATIENCE. Some of this stuff takes a little time.

I agree with Mike that patience is the key but understand that tournament players are hungry for action. I was VERY pleased to see the addition of a 2-day contest this year at----SARATOGA. WOW:eek: I have never been to Saratoga but will look to place the 8/11-8/12 contest on my Road to the Eclipse Award schedule.

Since it is the start of a new year, most players that have a day job, need to know the complete

tour schedule, in order to use their vacation and sick days for contests. Maybe that was part of the reason

for the small turnout at FPX.
