I downloaded the races for the HPQualify last night.
Decided to build a new db and report for the contest today. In the new report, I wanted to identify which horses were Also Eligibles and which were Main Track Only, considering there were some large fields today. After the scratches, I re-exported and imported back into my new db. I was kinda surprised that the AE and MTO designations were now gone, even on the horses who had drawn in. Is there a way to make these permanent designations? I think it would be interesting to see if there are specific trainers who request MTO, hoping it will land on the dirt. If it doesn't they have the right to scratch.... This cannot be researched right now if after scratches the nAE field is reset back to zeros. Not to mention, I lose this designation in the reports I am using for the contest.
