This is just an educated guess, but since the message is that the update will take place on Thursday, Jan 17, and Jan 17 isn't a Thursday, while tomorrow Dec 17 is a Thursday, what's probably up with that is Michelle's got so many calls and emails she decided to try to get the message out by posting something and put in the wrong month.

Thanks... That was a big update, looks like we dodged 3 bullets in Golden Gate contests. It would take a number of people scoring points in 2 of the 3 remaining points contests to knock me out of the top 6. Feels like I can breathe again. The last few weeks have been torture, in a good way I guess.

Turnout at Surfside will be important, if they get 300 entries, 13 people are close enough to jump into 6th with a 970 point 7th place. Anyone outside of that would need 2 scores.
