We all know that TP ranks pretty high in terms of price horses but does anyone have any insights into HTR factors that might work there? K1 and HTR1 are about -60% ROI since the meet started. $$, 8% wins, -25% ROI.

Anyone have any insights they're willing to share? The track seems nearly completely random at this point. :(

I show a WROI of 1.48 for $$ as the only criteria.

But win percentage is bad.

Try setting the Tote range to 5-99 and look for the areas where the prices are coming in.

Looks like routes are doing much better than sprints.

Females better than males.

Yeah, Rick you're right on $$. I had a couple of exclusions on. That ROI comes from a single horse though, a $127 winner on 12/5. Visually, it looks like the final move is winning especially at 2 turns but I haven't been able to pick that up in HTR. I am going to keep digging but if anyone has any ideas please join the thread

mdns - use the bet down hard horse - hook with a couple of price horses of your choice.

non-mdns - toss beu/mnr and other horses from higher purse tracks

look at the last two races for moves within the race - pay close attention to late advantages.

look for horses that seem to be prepped for the meet in the first 2-3 weeks.

look for horses that have handled the TP surface before- just this would have given you some real nice scores.

it's been a gold mine so far.
