Rather strange..looks like posts from the past are haunting the board. :D

Yeah, for the last couple days it hasn't recognized me when I have been logging on, although I have not been clearing my cache or anything else. First it shows posts that I read as being unread, then visa versa. Been happening on both this machine and my work machine. Nothing like a good hiccup or two!

Yeah, I think when ever someone votes on a Poll it bumps it up to the top. Very strange though to see those ole things on top...

More likely ghost posters.

If you do a reply to an old thread, then delete your response, the thread seems to move ahead magically, as the first "ghost reply" is long gone.

Hello Boys,

I've been having problems with my machine ever since the Excite@home flameout. Am somewhat relieved to learn that the message board problem is due to ghosts!

And I was so "Excited" having just gotten hooked up with them only three weeks prior to their demise. Glad I heeded the warning some one offered here (MikeD, I think) and did not immediately cancel my dial up service.

Anybody call the Ghost Busters?
