I didn't realize it, but back on June 28th, Shawn Turner (Spike) qualified for the Big Dance out at HOL!! Congrats and job well done!! I don't know how I missed that!? Did anyone else here attend that contest??

Also AlanN is on fire over at HPQualify.com!! 2 weeks ago he won a Hilton Pick the Ponies contest package; Friday he took first place again and walked off with $1000 for his $25 entry fee! Nice job Alan!!

I wish it was me believe it or not that is the west coast Shawn Turner. Horse owner and one helluva handicapper. Funny story when we were at the Red Rock in Jan. my dad called the front desk and ask for Shawn Turner's room. He got the other Shawn and asked him to bring him some beer and cigs. If you watched TVG on Hollywood Cup day they interviewed him because he had a hoss in.
What are the odds that there would be 2 handicappers with the same name which is not that common. Oh I did win the YOUBET contest on Wed night. My bro came in 3rd on Thur. with some help from me.

Thanks Bro. Dont worry I WILL qualify. Going to EMD for the big contest. My pops, bro and I are going. Unless I can figure out logisitics, I will not be able to go to Gold Coast. Me and my pops are going to the contest at CNL. Last year I did the Gold Coast to EMD contests and was burned out when I got to EMD . Thanks for the Congrats on winning Youbet.

I just hope I can remember how to pick them next week at the Gold Coast (I seem to forget so easily :confused:) . Also, before the hilton package contest, I hit 1st place in the HOL friday nite contest at HPQualify last month on June 12. I think I need HOL to run all year on friday nights!

Oh, the trip to Des Moines has been postponed, now most likely some time in August.

I've always been amazed (or more like baffled) how one can handicap(handistab?) using the same
methods, and get such varying, totally different results. I'll just enjoy it while I can.
