INVALID ARGUMENT

The dreaded "invalid argument" shows up from time to time and is very frustrating.

I usually just start over because I can't find the error.

Is the error usually in query?
any short cut to finding the error?
any suggestions?:confused:

Rick is right about this - when invalid argument appears you need to "Compact and Repair" database to reduce size. To check simply look at the General Tab in Database Properties under File tab in Access. If its close to 2 gig you're in trouble and need to compact things.
