i keep getting this JAVA update message. I dont even know what JAVA means. Is it something I need. If so ill update it.
What would you advise i do?

The HDW download cart uses Java.

Normally if you run a program that requires Java it will tell you when you try to run.

Since you are getting the update message, it is a good bet that you have Java installed.

I would just let Java update. That way you stop getting the update message and Java is there if and when you need it.
