A topic came up about Wanderin Boy and his not being able to wear caulks in NY anymore.
I thought this might be a good angle to look into, maybe find some favorites to bet against....
But the PP data and chart data do not agree. All the PPs I found, HDW, BRIS, DRF, have him on lasix every race. The comma charts have him using it the last three, not using it the previous two, then using it back in May. This is a bit disturbing that a potentially important factor is a coin toss.
HDW charts are the only ones that mention caulks, but it shows him wearing them the last three only, which marked a big improvement in his performance, but did he wear them previously?
