I am having a run time error when I try to open up the scratch part of HTR. Most of the time the run time error has occurred when I have had either the robot open and/or was watching a race video play on my lap top. I then would close out the video and/or the robot then go to open up the scratch part of HTR. The run time error is "55" and says the file is already open. This can not be true because I have not even open up the scratch part yet. This has happen three times today and is getting very annoying. I have no clue what is happening.

The Robot uses Windows System file I/O and if you interesect files when opening another screen, the new screen can crash. Run the Robot by itself since it is very hard drive intensive.

I have never crashed when using the Scratch and never heard from anyone else that has either, so i'm pretty sure it is the multi-tasking that causes it.

I've had the scratch screen but when I tried to duplicate the problem and try to figure out what I did to cause it I couldn't do it.

To me it seemed like I would get the error after having already run the scratch.

I tried every combination I could think of but couldn't get it to do it when I was trying to get it to do it.

I am sorry to say but I got another run time error. This time I was on the program screen and I click on the the scratch screen. I had no other screens open. I took your advise Ken and I closed the robot or any other screen before I go to another. This is more of annoyance then any thing else. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Gar', i think i got the Scratch crash quirk figured out and added some code to ensure that all files are closed before and after the Scratch functions are clicked.

There will be a bug fix update available after Labor Day when the newsletter comes out.
