Thanks to Equidaily for the link / Someone at Paceadvantage for finding it / and especially to DiDisney for posting it on YouTube.
This is a must see imo and who knew that some 60 years ago Walt Disney was putting out handicapping videos! :D
Classic 1948 Disney with ‘Goofy at the races…Enjoy!

Thanks for that one, Dan. Walt left out the use of at least 3 ink colors of ink in the handicapping phase ... a trait that I seem to constitutionally be unable to break out of.

ha ha LOL ! that's a pip, reminds me of another classic "At the Races" w/ Marx Bros.
The passage of time hasn't changed the conventional approach of the typical DRF paper handicapper of today, piles of systems, books and charts and sitting up all night checking every nuance. I hope we have transcended that somewhat with HTR!

Speak for yourself Ken!
Some of us are still crazy enough to burn the midnight oil regardless of how efficient you make the process! :o

In my defense ... it's HTR printouts that I mark up!! Also, along the theme of the conscious or unconscious decisions in wagering ... I believe in the military adage ... namely "the intelligent preparation of the battlefield" prior to an actual engagement ... hence highlighting factors that one wishes to consider either positively or negatively ... so that the subconscious mind can assess the "terrain" and hopefully guide the brain to not allow the left side to dominate so much. Anyway, that's my mindset.

I loved the part about getting dressed up to go to the track......
If only that were true today.
