I have an XPressBet account that I rarely if ever use. The Web Interface is simply far too clunky for the way that I wager, in that I tend to put in a large number of different trifecta and superfecta wagers fairly cose to post time and the XPressBet interface simply is not conducive to this.

Well, after not using my account for upwards of a year because of this, I entered an online contest today. $50, 10 races. I went to enter my wager for Race 1 about 7 minutes before post, but was being prompted for a PIN before it would allow me to finalize the wager. Needless to say it took more than a few minutes on the phone to get my PIN (which ended up being the last 4 of my SSN). As a result I was unable to enter my wager on contest Race 1 (it was a loser anyway, no effect on my score). After again contacting what is loosely referred to as "Customer Service" via e-mail I was informed that (as I suspected) I was disqualified from the contest, sorry for the inconvience (no sorry about the $50 entry fee that I got absolutely nothing for).

Needless to say, it was difficult to call this a positive experience, however $50 is not the highest price to pay to once again be reminded of why i do not use XPressBet, why Magna Stock is <$1 a share, and why XPress(ing) is a term that also applies to the procedure of manipulating and drawing fluid from a dog's anal glands.

I had a VERY similar experience with them Mike. Phone tag for a good: 30 minutes WHILE I was trying to bet. Finally told them to close the account and send the balance…and THAT took another series of Q & A.

Customer service…A novel concept. If you showed any restaurant patron on earth the contempt shown gamblers you would be boarding the windows within 3 days.

OH MY! This one liner would have had the room rolling if you told it in public! :D

What a great game this is for those of us strong enough to stay involved.

I think you finally beat my 4NJBETS story of how I talked Gary (RXLAWYER) into opening an account and telling him they would give him a $50 bonus for doing it, as their literature said.

Gary calls and they say they know nothing about the offer. So he doesn't put money in the account. When I contact the customer service people, they say he was not eligible for the bonus since he didn't bet.:mad:

Hooray for the Management in this game! NOT!

After exchanging e-mails with XPressBet customer service, I can only say that they have a rather unique vision of the customer/provider relationship.

When I compare the "What can we do to make this right" responses I have recieved from Pinnacle, and yes, even YouBet I can only shake my head when dealing with XPressGland.

From a glass half full perspective, I guess $50 is a pretty small amount to pay for such an important lesson. Considering how close I live to the Magna owned PM, I do feel kind of ashamed that I even considered using said AWS in the first place.

Mike, Mr. Stronach and his sycophants are their own reward. They took me around in circles so often it felt like a carousel without the brass ring.

I hope my dog doesn't require your services.

heres my problem with xpressbet. i live in the burg. deposit 100 in my account on thrus. i like to go to the otb on monday. I can bet and use the whole amount on thrus and loose it all. but if i use or loose half and try to withdraw the balance, i(anyone) have to wait 7-10 days before i can withdraw the balance. now i can loose the amount the same day i deposit it but can't withdraw. now i'm using a debit card not a credit card so the cash is out when i deposit it. even good and logtime bettors have this problem place.
