I have been modeling Santa Anita since it openned and have been surprized to find the track has been favoring late runners especailly at the longer sprints/routes and on the turf. Fr3 has been the most dominate fraction so far as well as Lv, SP, FX. Curious to know how everybody else has been reading the track.

Yeah, F2 is pretty impressive too-looks like late runners that get started running
early are doing ok in routes.

Interesting data. There was a time a while back where Ev1/ap1 was killer there. But guess things change with time and seasons

This is what I like about HTR-you can scan every damn track in the country and look for
profitable spot like this-generally, SA is thought of as an early track. Time to mount an attack on the West Coast.

Just check my model again for sprints using pl3, I don't show one ev1 or f1 winner, AP and SP have the best numbers, but nothing notable. The only rating I show as really predicable is PER.(32% win/71% in the money)
Route are showing a strong late tendency with f2 and Lv showing strong.

after looking at sprint-vs-rte......split the girls from the boys...... almost always one will be much better than the other.
I had to redo my sa model (use only Sept- Oct) didn't seem like any type of race was running to the model until I took out the spring races.
