i put in my picks for the first few races last night because i was not going to be home for the early part - just dumb luck that i hit it since i wasn't here to change it

nice score on the bomb at HOL, should get you to next week

nope - really made some bad plays late. ended up being out of it by 6.40. funny thing is that were were 6.40 out before the last race and was in 25th place. We ended up 6.40 out of it and in 33rd. Which means that the 8 people who picked the winner of the last and moved up didn't play a horse with odds long enough to get them to qualify. We toyed very hard with playing the 10 - who went off at 3/5 or 4/5 in the last - thinking that, if the right horse came in second that horse might give us the 6.40 to qualify. Tony really liked the 5 at HOL - but unfortunately i ignored him and played the rail horse.
