Anyone heard anything about how things are going with Premier Turf Club (or has anyone tried the new wagering interface)?
I've been hoping to find at least one additional track on the Partner Track list that I am familiar with, but have not seen a lot of additional listings added. It would be tough for me to use PTC for Mnr only when I am already stuck using both XPressBet and YouBet.
Good news is I actually found an item in the YouBet Player Rewards Catalog (a Sony Handicam) that ended up pushing the rebate percentage up to 2/10ths of 1 percent (.2%). Careful guys, don't get too carried away with this rewards program, after all, your not philanthropists!

Someday, maybe in our lifetime if we take care of ourself, there will be an on-line betting site who partners with a site like Amazon to give their players some incentive.
Call it "AMazon bucks" or give a discount or whatever. I dont see any tax laws that prevent giving customers discounts and it costs the betting site nothing to ship it and they need keep no inventory.
It amazes me how little overhead these sites have and how greedy they have become. If the same people ran casinos they would make patrons pay for drinks, meals, shows, and give them a waffle iron on the way out!

There's also Louisiana Downs, Suffolk, CBY, Fort Erie and my favoite Yavapai. I think these along with MNR should give you some actions throughout the week. Of course it's bear bones but we should support as much as we can in states where they take customers or else we will never get anywhere with rebates ever again.

refer A: as of 18 May, PTC is up and running https://www.premierturfclub.com/
refer B: not yet!
I am not ready to increase my profit by getting a rebate because I am still searching for my solution using HTR and WinTicket. I have more than one data base which connects my betting history (ie WinTicket) with HTR and with my betting subgroups. WHEN I am comfortable with at LEAST a consistent, near break even history, THEN I will use the tracks offered by PTC to make more money. The conversion from WinTicket is PTC is not trivial but an exercise that I look forward to doing, as soon as, I have the history that I feel justifies the conversion.
I want to use PTC and help prove that the rebate (ie bettor DISCOUNT) is a business model that not only works for the customer (us bettors!!) but also, benefits everyone else in the pari-mutuel money machine. That is, the '..everyone..' being tracks, owners, breeders, trainers, jockeys, grooms, hotwalkers, stall muckers, stewards, ... (add to list when find someone left out!!)
I found most interesting the PTC does not allow customers to share (ie, brag) about the rebate/discount schedule. Does anyone believe that WalMart would be the leading retail discount chain with such a policy? Oh, just my jab at how rediculous (sp?) an attitude. BUT, the pari-mutuel rebate attitude is real and will take a major education program before SOME people will change their attitude.

Duane, with all due respect the Wal-Mart analogy is apples and oranges IMHO.
I haven’t approached Ian as the tracks I need are not yet offered, but I’m sure the rebate level corresponds to your level of play.
Just as off shore rebates (“used to be” :() and any comp in a Vegas casino. PTC does not want player-A who bets 100k a month to state he is getting X%, when player-B is betting 2k a month and getting Y%.
Mighty Pinnacle was not 7% across the board. I was offered 10% at the Palms casino and the beard for the rebate house he represented was going to take 2% as a fee. Having said that…1% is worth taking IMO. To me ‘losing less is every bit as valid as ‘winning more.
If Mike [MVM] for example can use both Ian and Youbet just think of the extra batter he can buy with Ian’s rebates for his Youbet waffle iron! :D
I’m not pretending to speak for 'PTC, but that’s been my experience with rebates of any kind and I bet Ian could write a fascinating book on what he’s been through so far.

I've been using PTC since they opened the web site and I think it's great. They don't have every track but they usually have a couple that are playable. Today they have Asd-Cby-Hst-La-Lad-Mnr-Srp-Stp and Yav.
I'm not a whale but I'm getting rebates that I find very generous.
As of a couple of days ago, they have begun taking credit/debit cards for funding, which is convenient.
All in all it's the best thing since the poptop beer can.:)

yes Dan, I agree my analogy was off target in that the basic structure does NOT match.
maybe more like a wholesaler who gives customers discounts based on volume of business.
My goal for posting was not the analogy but my reminder that I have tried the rebate betting to increase my profits. Well, my betting was near break even but not really a solid money maker. So, I rationalized (justified!!) betting ten dollar units instead of one dollar units. That was a fun experiment that lasted almost three months and churned the betting budget eight times. When I returned to my research cave to improve my betting, I resolved that I must find a picking method which will be easy to discipline the betting.
So, now I am tempted to try my '..in progress..' method to one of the PTC tracks. Yes, even at the one dollar unit, my handle will generate some rebate. However, I need this reminder that a rebate increases the satisfaction of a profit instead of reducing the pain of losing money.
OK, now maybe I can return to my cave to find a solution using the three Ds:
1) DEFINITION
2) Discipline
3) Deviation
with Deviation being the license to start betting WITHOUT a perfect Definition!!
and Discipline being the potential to increase a Definition bet unit to a theoretical limit.
