Buffalo Jerky & Moose Drools up for grabs:cool:

Another photo finish to the HTR contest & 2nd B&B---I think there have been good finishes every month. Great move by Canuck on BC Day but the little $33 ex I hit on the Turf that day saves my bacon...or buffalo. Another good month for CJ's RNG which grabs a big early lead again & nearly holds on. We had 28 total days this month for a possible $336 bet. Some good results considering there wasn't much using real-time odds to choose contenders. I did have several days where I used the exotic boards to guide my plays but lost most of those days anyway. Good practice for exacta play. It was fun for me, hope you guys enjoyed it.

I've already cracked a Moose Drool to celebrate but I'd put up the same prizes for next month if we've got players. I wouldn't mind scorekeeping again. Maybe we should have an ROI contest so if you miss a few days it doesn't blow your chances. What do y'all think?

Did anyone ever see that racing buffalo that used to take on t-breds at q-horse distance?

MtKen,

I did. He ran at Turf Paradise several years ago(but really can't remember exactly when). He was fantastic and very competitive at a short distance.

Hope you get a chance to see him,

Hdcper

Hdcper:

I've been trying to remember if I saw him live in Billings or on a simulcast feed from Tup. We've been getting Tup simulcast up here for years.

MtKen.......you shoot the buffalo and I will supply a 12 pack of a local Texas dark ale made in the town of Shiner.

These exacta's are killing me. Would like to switch and play 2-horse dutch for roi.
Although I obviously need the exacta practice. Will play either way.

Nice showing Ken. Sounds like you already got into the Montana Milk brew. Congrats.

George:

2-horse dutch sounds good to me. Let's start a new thread & get something going for Fri. or Sat. I'll handle the buff if you'll handle the brew. Thanks.
