Watch 4/27 R7 at PRM. UNBELIEVABLE finish that shows how athletic jockeys really are. If you watch closely he actually kicked the other jockey in his A** with his right foot. A little personal revenge.

Thanks for that video Ed,

That was wild! Shows the power of the animals to. That horse didn’t flinch with all the trick riding going on.

It’s interesting that the replay from PRM is 6:52 long. They stay with it for the entire inquiry I guess? I don’t know if that’s typical, or because of the drama in this race. It’s a real pet peeve of mine when replays cut off before the gallop out.

We were there and witnessed that live! Happened right in front of us, cause we always stand to the left of the finish line....We had the #5 @ 12-1

Ohhh BTW-- they attributed the sudden right turn by the #5 as FTUTL. (First Time Under the Lights) He spooked away from the lights at the finish line!!!

I thought he got a whiff of one of your T-bones!!! :D

Tough beat Donnie at 12-1…Not only get taken down but your rider gets a Jackie Chan kick in the wallet!

BTW: (Good eye’s Ed! Corbett did kick him and it actually helped him regain his balance.)

ok you guys have created a dilema.

who to believe:

A. Replay observers (Ed and Dan) looks like jockey kicked the other jockey.

B. Handicapper (Donnie) eye witness, AT THE FINISH line, horse ducked out.

I watched the replay and could not see the kick
but maybe my video is not as good as used by Ed and Dan.

Duane---
The replay that night of the head-on, clearly shows the horse ducked out. In fact the race caller even mentioned it was probably the lights at the finish that made the horse take "a sharp right turn". His words. They showed it probably 10 times. I had thought Corbetts horse had veered in, until I saw the head-on. There was NO DOUBT. I think Corbett probably did get lucky in that he hit the other rider as he was being knocked from the saddle....but God bless him for hanging on.....

Duane:

The answer ia A and B.
Watch the FULL race replay again. At approximately 3:00 into the replay there is a slo-mo close up where Corbett's (rider of #7) right foot kicks the rider on the 5 in his booty :D as he slips from the saddle.
