Well, the DEL contest was an experience. It was a cash Tourney with a 200 buy in. The winner finished with around 1200.00. Some nice longshots came in..unfortunatly mine all came in second. I finished out of the money. All he top picks I had were bet down and all the old 'dirty ev1' as Carl would call them ran behind someone.
My girlfriend Sue, some of you met her in LV, finished a respectable 21st with 460.00 final. Goes to show you what a fresh mind can do. (She also played the p4 at PIM before the contest started and won that. Her entry number was also 69....maybe it was just her day :D )An 'old dog' at our table asked how long she had been playing the horses and when she said a few months I thought he was going to fall out of his chair.
Ran into anouther HTR fellow..had the TLC report at the window...only way I would have known as noone else had a computer. Says he reads up here but doesn't post...maybe he will post and let us know his final finish..although he said he was having the same problem I was...couldn't get a price.
In any case it was a lot of fun..looking forward to anouther one..problem is there just aren't many here on the east coast. May have to fly out west...darn the luck..and winter was coming too. :D
