Well here's the latest in the ongoing war with MSN. All e-mails with an .exe file name will not be allowed by MSN. MSN says there isn't anyway around it and they start with "did you read your contract with MSN" b---s---.
The only solution is to zip any files you are sending out to anybody. Then you can download it and try to install or run.

Predicition: MSN will be sued over this one and they will lose.

let me add.

when you rename the file extension, do NOT use TXT.

someone sent me an EXE file by changing it to a TXT file.
We had done this before using my HotMail email account.

ie, other person downloads the false TXT file, rename to EXE, and bingo, it runs!!

BUT, the new MSN/HotMail performs a display of a TXT file when you click download!!

so, change that EXE to ZIP or maybe BULL would get past the '..we will protect you..'
