no reference to darts being analyzed, ie who said POISON, coulda just been a strong, short term, tranquilizer. But, to affect a thousand pound horse or an athletic jockey, that chemical would have to be STRONG.

Trying to keep a straight face here, but what if the dart hits a horse in his not so privates? Speaking of a male horse here, not of the gelding variety.

This has to be the smartest "dumb" plan I have ever read about. And when the grass is cut all kinds of things could happen. The darts could get pointed at the assistants, the starter, the crowd, etc.

This is definitely fodder for a comedy script. If only our long time favorite Rodney Dangerfield were alive to play the part where his horse gets hit with a dart.

I tell people at work all the time I USE to say I have seen it all, but have since retracted that statement. Now I say I will NEVER see it all.
