Is percent of bank a better way to bet? If you hit a long price after reducing the bet-size in accordance with a diminishing bankroll, do you recover the previous lost larger bets as well as you would using a flat-bet technique?

Victor....depends on your personal average percent winners. If you are a longshot player with hit rate below 24% the reduction in percent bet will hurt you long term. Your "wins" will always return less than they would have on a flat bet.

If you are a high percent win player (over 35%) then a mild percentage INCREASE in your bet after a loss has a chance of increasing your roi. Glen did a similar mild progression and posted some excellent results over the last two months.

I play both types of plays and find adjusting bet size usually hurts more than it helps. I compromise by adjusting bet size once a month depending on whether bank has grown or shrunk.
