Here is a fascinating example of why we love his game.

• Not an overwhelming pedigree
• Hasn’t “broken the clock yet”
• Runs "green" during the money segments

Yet…I am in love with this colt. He has visually so much more to give, that I can’t help but be enthusiastic about his future.

Huge, long striding body and above average agility for a horse of his girth.

The rub comes with numeric measurement that has him almost regressing from his first start on… (A very negative sign :( )

“Today” 03-03-2007 will be a fascinating test for this animal. Major test in terms of position and velocity. Much more early heat than he has ever faced.

Again…Visually he is the real deal in my eyes…I just want him to show it in terms of numerical terms as ALL the great ones eventually do.

Enjoy a great prep to our Derby…:)

GP Race-10, “The Fountain of Youth” Stakes.

I was hoping to see him in person, but I had to cancel. Now I get to see how he looks at 5 inches tall on my monitor! :D

Hmmm.

I guess the 109 6f was a bit much this early in the season. Running at that kind of pace this early will help him down the road.

I thought he ran the best race in the Fountain. I don't know what happened in the stretch but I think he was shying away from the whip of Adore the Gold and when he looked beaten, he came again to close with a rush to just miss all the marbles. Don't take anything away from Daddy or Stormello either, these 2 ran great but for his agility, this hoss may be for real.

If you miss Great Hunter's race, I think he is for real also.

How about this day 5win for Pletcher at GP and 4 wins for Oneil at SA, oh well.

Agreed OPM…

Dangerous to throw ‘Showbiz under the bus off this tough trip. He does have a couple serious issues though…He is very playful, almost child like at times. This is a negative trait as the competition increases. (Charming in a family pet, but disappointing in a racehorse.)

I’ve seen horses with his raw ability mature (seemingly overnight) so I would not close the chapter on him. Makes for a fascinating Triple Crown series. If he had won by ten and had fire from his nostril’s, it may have really narrowed the field. Now most everyone’s dreams are alive.
