I just wanna say hello to the community. I've signed up to HTR during the last week after I had a positive ROI during the last trial period. Thereafter I was able to land some Exacta bombs which made me feel that switching from TSN to HTR was the right decision.
I came to HTR after I've read about it in the paceadvantage forum. Since I'm a computer freak and like to crunch numbers the robot feature of HTR made me smile. But reading the archived newsletters gave me much insight to the game than just looking at the numbers. I do hope that I will gain additional knowledge from reading and - later on - writing in the forum.
I still have to find my favourite view to look at a race. In the near future I will concentrate on the aspect of pace handicapping, so the maxvel application will be my favourite toy. The Brohammer book is already ordered...
I do finish my introduction as all newbies do: Asking a question:
In the maxvel application if you look at the v1 view in the upper half of the screen there's a column named nV. What's the meaning / concept of this?
