After a personal email from DanG I decided it's time for a fresh avatar...what do you think?

It looks kind of familiar, but I just can't place it.

Think I'll have to "punch" it up a bit! That "1993" doesn't seem like so long.....maybe I'll change it to 1893!! Should give it more "credibility"!

Donnie,
May I ask what software you use to create that?

I've always like the look of a good chip. This one is from the Louisville Courier Journal for their Derby Coverage.
I also use Photoshop CS2. When rotating text I loose resolution. Is that because I changed it to RGB color?

Could be...one thing most people don't understand is that everytime you do a modification on an image, Photoshop degrades the image slightly....so the least amount of adjustments you make the better the image will look at the end. If you use Image Ready (the sister program that comes with CS2, you can control the quality while converting to a jpg. Click the button all the way on the bottom of the toolbox! Then use the $up tab.) Don't change to RBG....just follow the step above and use the controls on the right in Image Ready.
I have a "good luck" casino chip I carry with me from my favorite casino, The Luxor, with the Blue Man Group on the face of it. Almost got sucked into collecting them but I fought that urge off pretty well!
