hi LureWW
at the end of the File Spec for HX4 you will find this note:
---------------
Fields 78-86 are "Impact" related and based on the Paceline mode (PL)
chosen by the user. If you wish to export the "Impact" figures from the
TLC program, use PL-1.
----------------
does this resolve your issue?

Congrats Lure! You are learning like the rest of us did. I also went through the "why dont the numbers match" phase. I think it is just part of the learning curve here.
AWOL is certainly helping you down the right path. That is why you have to love this board.
The TLC screen can be a good verification check of a horse that looks "too good".
Look at #8 Jeffrey W in the first at Delta tonight. He is #2 K and a $$ horse. But a quick check of the TLC screen shows that his last race wasn't troubled on todays track and he stunk the joint up.
That deserves a check of his running lines and you see his good velocity numbers were earned at the Woodlands, a very fast and cheap track. If you check the Impact numbers for the paceline there, he would still rate high.
I think the TLC screen helps many of us.

I agree there are so many options in this program it still confuses me sometimes.
Impact, PER, AP, Cramer speed figs. The first three are velocity-based but can be markedly different due to the way they are calcuated.
