20-30 Emails from Microsoft (legit address) or from other spammers who simply put Vista in the message to get people to read it?

Hey Donnie (or anyone), have you tried running HTR2 on Vista?
I hear there are problems and a lot of software will not function on it.
I wonder if there will be new programming platforms, such as Visual Basic for Vista that creates exe that won't run on WinXP, 98 ,etc ?

Ken--
Tomorrow at work I will ask one of the other instructors if they have prepared a build with it yet (I think one of the others said the other day they have....) if so, I can build a computer tomorrow over lunch and add HTR and see if there are any issues.
Will report back tomorrow!

one of the first things I am finding out is that before you can load Vista, your machine must be up to date with all Windows updates for XP. Tried to load it first on a 2000 machine, got a message that said it cannot install from that operating system. Ghosted an XP machine and it told me I didn't have the most recent version. So I had to do all the silly updates. Got the machine to load finally and found out that what I had was a copy of the program when they code named it Longhorn. Obtained a more recent copy and will attempt again in the next couple days!

Discussion regarding some extra "features" in Vista from MS. Sure sounds like they better approve of what you are doing with "their" software or else.
