I am going with both barrels loaded! I plan to win both tomorrow and Sunday!!! My understanding is all the easier players are the ones who are left and haven't qualified yet. I'm like a big ole Dutrow horse though....ducking the REAL competition that is showing up tomorrow at BEU!! Good luck to you and your posse as well Tommy!!! Alan, the contest is tomorrow - sorry guy. I made the same mistake when I signed up, but when Donnie posted and mentioned the contest being on Sunday I kinda figured out the mistake. You can still play the races though eh?

Well, another tournament in the bag! Going into the final race, I was in 4th, only $9 out of that 3rd place slot. We had 53 entries at CBY today. So that meant only 3 trips. Needless to say my horse did not perform in the finale, so I ended up in 5th, about $18 out of a qualifying spot! Top scores were about $109, $104, and $80. 10 races, Win/Place format, NO CAPS!!! Tough day. But fun, nonetheless!

On to tomorrow! Ohhhhh....Alan.....I just heard that the tournament has now been moved to Monday!!:D

5 minutes later, support emails me back with a simple message...contest is tomorrow!

Personally I ain't too happy that the closing race is a MSW race for state breds. What sorta handicapping prowess does that show?

Henry...haven't you noticed that before? I call it the Stab Factor. Those of us who are out of it, still have that last race to pick ANY longshot and still win. And those of us in the lead call it the Worry Factor.....you worry how big will the longshot be that wins that last race! :D

Ohhhhh......Henry and Alan.....FYI....remember meeting Daryl at the PRM contest....he won yesterday's CBY. He lurks here (don't know what the hell he is afraid of by not actually creating a profile...?) and is from Des Moines. Congrats again to Daryl. It will be his first trip to the WSH.

yeah guess so Donnie. I was just checking to see what it took to qualify in these things based on those that have qualified already. The last race thing sure worked for Cash Included at $29 and change on September 30th. All of the top six players had him in the last race but only 5 qualified because there weren't enough entrants to get all 6 in. The only other event where a big price horse got in in the end was on Potential on August 26th but only 2 of the top 6 had that horse.

I've made my commitment to be there for both events in January - I'll just buy in to the WSH - who else is going to be there for both?

I asked the guy if they had any Nintendo Wii's....he said no. As I was walking away he asked if I'd be interested in a PS3.....hell ya!!! So we got one of those today for the son!

It's always fun, just more fun when the horses run the way you want them to. I had thoughts of playing that $39 horse on both entries but didn't. Have always liked and had some good luck playing FTS on turf that are bred for it with good works. That would have given me $94.....woulda, coulda, shoulda, have to make the right decisions at the right time. Most of us can say that.

2 Pro football games, 2 horse races....pick the winner of all, you win the money...starts @ $500, carries over if no winners. The week Dallas beat Indianapolis, I woulda had all 4 for $2500...I HATE the Colts!!! They play this game every Sunday and Monday...on Mondays they use the football game and 3 races, many times MNR.....my favorite track. We have had quite a few 3 outta 4's.....football games can really stump me!
