Setting the Time for You

Maybe I am the only dummy.

I finally figured out why the time wasn't set right for my discussion group.

Each user has to go to Set Options under Profile and set the time for themselves.

I kept wondering why my time kept showing up wrong even after I changed the settings in the board setup.

Its going to take a while to figure out all the features in this program.

Never even thought about the time. But set it after your post.

I had to set it for central time, because it does not seem to recognize daylight time and if I used eastern (which is the correct zone) it is an hr ahead.

Mike...the times are relative to gmt. No real relationship to US time zones which were originally created by the early railroads and have no
significance to anything. Daylight savings time is another abberation with no relationship worldwide.

well how about that no daylight savings time in the world but here in the USA.
