I just downloaded the one year files, and noticed that poly tracks are still being listed as dirt.

Just to be sure, TP was the first to go poly when, fall meet, 2005?
Then WO this summer, then Kee this fall, then Hol this fall?

Now there is something i missed with that last update w/ the Poly inclusion - sorry Bulldog, thanks for the heads up - i'll get the Track Profile stats display and export updated for the next version and email you early for beta-test.

FYI on Artificial surfaces =
TP; from Sept 2005
WO, KEE, HOL - anything from Aug 30, 2006 forward

I do a ton of work with the HXT files...it's one of my favorite features of the program.
Could I get a beta-test copy as well?

Sharp eye, Tom!!

Note: this thread refers ONLY to the 1yr or 30day Track Profiles - not the regular Racefiles that have already been updated.

I have updated HTR2 Track Profile output and HXT to include the "Artf" surfaces.

This will available in the January update. Sent copies to Hug and TBrown for beta-test now and they'll ensure it is 100% correct for us - thanks guys. If you are a user of HXT, make your own pars, etc, and need this information right away - please contact me via email.

Regular users don't need it right now because it is obvious that the last 30 days at HOL, WO, KEE and TP non-turf races are all on the Poly/Cushion even though there is a "Dirt" listing in the current output. That visual designation will change to "Artf" (Poly, etc) in the update, but the stats are the same.

HDW has not added Poly designation code for the 30day or 1yr Track Model/Profile files yet, but i wrote code in HTR2 to recognize it by track + date for the start of the new surface.

There is even an "About Artificial" distance now. 7.0 aArtf at KEE is separated from the regular 7.0 races. WO 1yr Profile will be a long list with all the various types of surfaces including "inner dirt" present in the past year.
