Carl,
Thanks very much for your concern. We are okay here. Was out traveling and took quite a bit of time to get back to Texas. Thanks again.

Glad you're O.K. buddy.

And I may have something good for you, check out my post a few days back about http:www.betmega.com .

They have on line betting, $5 minimum bet, full track odds. I am still playing on my free $35 dollars, so I haven't gotten too serious with them yet.

I did call them up today though to ask about why "they carried some tracks some days, other's other days" and got an interesting answer.
1) The betting supervisor (who claims he is also a horse player) says the lines have been spotty of late due to lack of a consistent feed from Don Best Sports, who he buys his lines from.
2) He says he is "on the phone to them everyday", and that he "used to carry 20 tracks on line".
3) But here's the best part. He told me I could call in a bet to them on any track they could get an equibase result for and he would honor the bet with as "a time stamp bet". (Anything called in before two minutes to off time is "action".) And that they would wave their usual $25 minimum for a phone in bet until the web thing with Don Best is straightened out. This is way cool IMO, 'cause all of a sudden we may have "one stop shopping".
4) I think the book is O.K., they come recommended, but of course "you never know...."
5) The way the bonusing on new funds is set up, I am better off playing out/or increasing to a couple of hundred my free $35 first before I get serious with them. I plan to go to a couple of hundred hehe, but again you "never know......"

Sounds good to me anyway. Check out their site, registration is free and they e-mail you back $35 to make bets with to try it out. Let me know what you think.
