Newsletter due out next week after the Br Cup is over. Look for it on Tues or Wed, Nov 7-8

I didn't want to squeeze Breeder Cup analysis into the newsletter with just 24 hours to look it over, so i'll post my 2-cents worth and picks here on the bbs in the Br Cup forum and hope others will follow. The newsletter will have a post-mortem on the big races.

There is a major statistical review of longshots (9/1 odds up) in the November edition. Five categories of races were analyzed and you'll find some interesting surprises. Factors that produce high-odds winners that you might not have been looking at. Additionally there are articles on geldings and foreign shippers.

Thanks for your hard work Ken!

Your newsletter is something I look forward to every month now. I am glad you have the archives. It gives people a chance to go back to see how things have evolved.

Good luck on the Breeders Cup.

Jim

I really appreciate that NJ & Zaf !

Research has shown that the HTR newsletter induces excessive alcohol consumption among its readers, so i think i deserve a kickback from Jack Daniels, et al. :o

I think the Newsletter has more valuable info than a $99 Mike Nunamaker book. Or even the so-called "Crushing the Cup" scribes.

I really liked the longshot analysis, but the best part is that many of these factors exist ONLY in HTR.

I haven't had a chance to post about the Mountaineer bomb that was #1 3rd fraction and a few other things.

This is good stuff Ken. Thanks for all your hard work!

KM great newsletter. Quick question "Will we see the SCORE #'s in the program in the future?"

an idea for sure Bill, TomCat also asked me about the SCORE from the Nov newsletter tests

SCORE can only be added to the Robot as it is a calculation that requires data, raw totals WPS, ROI and I.V. at once. I'll work on it.

Ken, I'm willing to do further research about the alcohol consumption with the next newsletter. However, I would suggest I be allowed to test with Bud Select as that is my beverage of choice. Stand by for News!!!!!!!!

I think I lost 2 races from 9 at AQU today. I just made an assumption that the track
could be playing fast after the Wednesday rain & the cancelled card. Plus all the
races were taken off the turf today. Race #1 began with a wire job, paying $28.
Race #9, a wire job paying $12. This program provided the winners: just play FR1 leader.
Funny, in Race #6, off the turf at 1-1/4", I played #15 Angliana, but #14 Naughty NYer
was rated 1 on FR1. Well, Naughty won wire job, 15 came in second. Naughty was 9:5.
Race #4, a Md Sp Wt, was won by #1, a fav, with the highest PED rating. No question
there was a bias for Early Speed.
