DRF has finally updated their NHC qualifiing list through Aug 5. There is no listing yet for the CBY, OP or HST qualifiers. But they did include the SUF and EMD.

New information starts with River Downs and Mel 2nd place finish. Congats agains Mall.

Jerry Brown is shown as finishing 3rd at DMR ???

MVM - are those EMD results the same as the original, or was there a DQ? OPM, is your friend on the list (the guy that finished 10th, did he get in?)

The Pick the Ponies contest begins today at the Hilton in Vegas, cash only, no qualifying spots. Ends Sat. I believe a few HTR players are involved, i'll try to get some news.

The Wynn held a $2000/entry contest last weekend. Results unknown - 35 players - guaranteed $50,000 first prize though - no qualifying.

If what I heard back indirectly from one of the two guys I know who participated in the Sin City Steambath, your number might be how many actually paid the entry fee. Apparently, a significant number of those who participated were comped. tulleythetout's article from majorwager a few days ago:

Thanks for getting the facts on the Wynn contest Mel, my information came from an email of a player that participated. He says "35 players" the article mentions "52 entries", so maybe there was more than meets the eye in terms of comps or multiple entries per person to meet that guaranteed purse. Gotta wonder if they'll repeat this one next year, seems like bad timing for a Vegas contest that had no qualifiers.

Vegas: Hilton PTP going now, Ballys next week with 2 quallies.

Here is the calendar

Here is a link to two more Dave Tuley articles on recent Vegas tourneys including the Pick the Ponies (Hilton) results. Contests in Vegas continue to under sell, PtP top prize just $30,000. Be interesting to see how many show up for the Bally's this weekend with NHC qualifers available.
