NTRA Shake Up?

Rumors flying about the NTRA, big shakedown, heads rolling, many fired and resigned.

Anybody have hard facts?

This NTRA press release is a softball - but obviously related and it looks like Br Cup has taken over.

How this plays out for the NHC is unknown - but Jeff Sotman, who ran the thing - is out.

(DRF and NTRA have no updates on the NHC qualifiers past June 17 ???)

Some years ago, I had a guy in my class who worked for NTRA....a nice guy I might add who wanted to learn more about racing if he was going to work for them. He later retired.
But, he was concerned about the willingness of individual tracks to work together for the betterment of the sport (business). It seems many resented giving up anything for any reason.
I remember the issue of uniform colors of saddle clothes across the country. Some tracks resisted because of the cost of having to buy new ones.

Oh well....what's next?
