I was handicappin MNR race 5 tonight and for horse #5 Sir Hopper his ATWP was 148%.
How can this number be over 100%? There were several others like this.

I'll hazard a guess that Gambler is trying to reference something to do with Trainer (T) and Winning Percentage (WP).
The only place I saw the number 148 was trainer Dale Baird's 148 wins.

I thought ATWP = All Time Win Percentage

I don't remember where I saw it.

Ed-
the ATWP is the At Track Win Percent. It is in the trainer export. Not everyone is using the trainer exporter. I fear maybe your table is corrupted somehow that it is loading the total wins into the ATWP column...hence, giving you 148%. You should probably reimport anew...by hand....then go back to your import routines.

Per the trainer report, It seems the total starts are showing as 029 and is probably 1029 per the data and % shown.

Excuse me....I don't have the file right ahead of me....but if what Jetcity said is that the fields in the comp trainer report only support 3 digits and this trainer has already raced over 1000 animals, then yes it may appear that the trainer has 148%....will look at it tonight when I get home from work.
