Zaf - i'm sorry, i accidently erased your message when attempting to move it to this forum from the General Forum.
Please re-post and i'll test it for you last 365days if you want or Mike or Donnie can instruct you on how to set up the Access query on your own.

No problem. Looking for ways to find races which may have vulnerable favorites. I guess a good place to start would be the VI.
I'm pretty new at this access stuff and was just trying to find some parameters which may indicate a vulnerable favorite or short priced horse. I was actually wondering if anybody tried this before.
I was thinking ML Odds horses less than 5/2 which had some defects like , poor Jockey / Trainer, poor ranking in FR-1, FR-3, maybe ranked 3rd or worse in K rating ???
Any input, suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

rmlo = 1 rK > 2 - these horses win less that 20% of the time
if you want real losers
rmlo = 1 rK>4 - win less than 13% but a lot fewer race of course
I have seen others but this is real simple and I like it that way.
As with any rating you use in a query you have to be careful of rating since it may change your rating.
good luck

Been searching out those races every day since 'Kane first shared it a year or two ago - GREAT place to start.

So, reading this everyone must be thinking 'Kane's in the sauce again'.
I was trying to say watch out for scratches. If you are using a rating it changes with scratches. A false Fav can become a strong fav with a couple of scratches.
