10:30 on the East Coast, time for a race.

Opening day @ Belmont. R4 has 9 18k clmrs going 6f.

#5 8/1 mlo

alt #2 12/1 mlo

Thought I'd jump in so I wouldn't borrow anyone's pick for once.

I suggest from now on that 9pm est be the limit for the winner to post a new race & at that point anyone who has been playing can post tomorrow's race. OK?

What do the rules say about 2-horse entries? Do you get both?

CJ:

I don't know but I'd think that a winning ticket is a winning ticket as long as your pick remains in the race. Need Canuck for the official answer.

Hi All,

Sorry I missed an opportunity to select the race, but being on MST in Arizona actually ends up being Pacific time. Thanks for selecting the Belmont Race MtKen and I understand that everyone needs to know as soon as possible. Further, it really doesn't matter to me who picks the race.

In closing, here are my selections for the 4th at Belmont

#2 Bold Pic

Alt #5 Musashi

Good luck everyone,

MtKen--9pm EST sounds good

ceejay--if you like part of the entry but not the other half-specify which part you like. If you select #1 and the #1A wins-you will not get credit for cashing(unless-of course-you had specified the 1A) This will eliminate someone saying-"Hey-part of my entry was scratched-dont I get my alternate?"

This race is a no brainer(for me)

Been playing tri keys lately--have found at the A tracks a horse with this profile-impact esp1 ACL 1 or 2 HTR consenus 1--win% very high around 40%--lotta stinky prices but a few $10 horses here and there--(see Meadowlands last night Race 6-horse#3--same profile-paid $10)

Pick #7.

No need for an alternate. He goes, wins. pays $3.60.

Yipee!

And,. sad to say, I am playing this one in "real life" too. May not make any money, but get the old win percentage up into double digits while I am waiting for a bomb. I have this particular spot at close to 40% winners.

later,
Carl

I dropped out of contenst. Still, handicapping today's Belmont Card
cannot resist commenting on this race. (Usually get into trouble when
I do this)

#7 is the hot pick, Carl may even try him with real money. Looks like he will
easily get the lead and never look back. Also has a top Trainer who may
also use Chemistry to help his horses. Hope I don't cost you any money
Carl, but I have a fairly strong opinion against this horse for win.

Horse is dropping down from NW2. If you check his Prat 2 numbers, you
will see that his two 13's are good enough to win today's 3rd and 5th
races, both carded for NW of 2. But he can be had for 18K.

This horse has only run 5 times since breaking his maiden in Feb. He ran
3 good races, was laid off for 81 days, ran and was laid off for another 56
days where he has been able to put two races together, but now he
is for sale. He may be developing or already have physical problems.

At odds-on it is either a skipped race or you take a shot.

Hdcpr: Good picking yesterday, thought I had to w*&^%&k all day so I posted this.
Luckily w*&^K call off due to boss being sick.

Daver or Swope feel free to pick the next one since I got my pick...nice pick CJ on the 3, picks up $39+ to our $23+ with the winner.

MtKen......really liked the horse AND Eibar. Really think Ariel Smith is a klutz. Have been shot TWICE in this contest by thinking too much.
Gonna quit thinking :)

Dr Larry,

Liked your analysis as to why one should bet against the 7. Definitely a big question as to what the horse is doing in that race.
