what I said about not liking or understanding "The Four Quarters of Horse Investing" by Steve Fierro -- this book is for real and I highly recommend it. It took me a long time to understand how to apply the ideas in the book to my HTR play, mainly because I have always resisted the idea of ranking my contenders according to my opinion, and NOT by velocity score. Now that I am over that, the betting line templates in the book work great. I still haven't figured out a good way to keep records, but maybe excel or "Bettor Keep Track"
The big thing is, I'm finally (!) over the idea of finding something inside HTR to separate and score the contenders against each other, I'll take care of that myself thank you. Now the line truly reflects my opinion, good or bad.
This may be obvious but I have been beating my head against a wall for a long time! :)
