Mike, Donnie, or anybody else for that matter,
I have made querys in the past that when you run them they ask for start and end date. But I can't remember how I made them return all records by hitting enter without entering date.
In the criteria field I have
Between [Enter Start Date] and [Enter Ending Date]
I think I need an Or Is Null but can't remeber how to make it work.

If anybody cares, I finally figured out how to do this again. It's really nice when looking at data in a time frame.
between [start date] and [end date] or between [start date] and [end date] is null
P.S. Mike, do you have a module that sorts by month like yours sorts by track?

F4N, Are your referring to the ROI one thats builds results in a table by track? If so no I don't but it I should be able to figure out how to change it. Send me the module that you are using, I'll change it, rename it to sort results by month.

Is this the same thing as setting your query under tDate to
">=10100 and <=123100"
for testing the year 2000? or am I misunderstanding?

yes and no, if I am understanding f4n right. I sent him a roi module that would take a given query and summarize the resutls by track and put the roi data in a sepaate table. I think he wants to look at the same data by month. So you can take a query with a data range like 1/1/01 thru 12/31/01 and summarize the ROI data by month.

HK, all is well. Back to spot plays, that seems to be where I can make money. We are moving to new house and still waiting for funding of our new loan. First they made a mistake and now we are in line with all the people refinancing right now. Should have been moved by now, hopefully this week.
Glen, yes if you put that in the date criteria it will give you a pop up when you run your query that asks between what date.
