Glen,
It looks like vBulletin handles text files just like it handles regular messages. Lets try it in rtf.

Glen,
The text files downloads OK, they just don't display right when they are formatted columns.

I took your kee.txt and just added the [ code ] and [ /code ] to see if it will then display right.

Thanks Rick,

I guess it only effects certain PC's. I have 2 different ones I use at work (PC and MAC) and all 3 attachments above turned out well. Anybody else have problems with the downloaded file?

Glen,
Are you saying that you can click on the link of the kee.txt and view it online like you want to, or that you are downloading the file and its OK?

I can download and its OK but when I view the text files online all the formatting is removed.

Rick,

Just download it ok. I didn't realize there was a way to view it. How do I do that without downloading the file? Thanks,
Glen

Glen,
Just left click on the link.

Ok, thanks...This silly IMAC mouse has only one clicker. No left or rigth options. But that ok, it seems to work fine now. Left click on PC works too. Thanks.

Rick, Anyway of getting the old wallpaper from old HTR BBS on this thing. Love the ole wallpaper with the horses coming out fo the gate!

I just clicked on the view the file button. When I used the .txt It opend up note pad (this is my PCs default for .txt and it opend fine. everything formatted jsut right

Next I opened the rtf. In my PC the default for rtf is explorer. This worked just fine as well, formatting A OK

The really neat thing it that it opens it up in a window so that you can review the attachment without leaving the message board:)

Now if I can just attach a spreadsheet and hit aa couple of nice priced tri's I'll in horseplayer heaven:D

Glen,
I could do that but only the blue area would be showing the horse background.

Didn't seem worth it. You can always visit the regular site and old discussion group to see it.

We'll try it with the horses. At least they show between screens.

I haven't figured a way to eliminate any from the Shakertown field. My limited sample of sprint turf races at KEE brings up ACL in the top three:
Gone Fishin; Weatherbird; Beckon The King. These three are also (according to Impact) at a disadvantage in the early stages of this race, in which trip plays such a big part. At the Fairgrounds (which has more of these), FR2 was a promising indicator: here, that's the chalk Grangerville. My interpretation of Prat is 4-2... and possibly 10 ready for improvement.

(Thanks for getting new board going so quickly, Rick!)

Neil......six minutes to post and can't believe My Halo is 7/5 fav when jockey has zero success with front runners on turf.

Going tp bet large show on Gone Fishing and $1 ex box on 4,5,9,10.

Can't figure winner but Bailey should easily get a show. My ex box is probably futile but will pay big if happens.

Said yesterday that when splitting hairs between Day and Bailey go with Jon Court or Jorge Chavez. Should have stuck with Chavez.

This is a good example of how KM's Velocity Figs are the best. What the heck he does with variants and conversions is amazing. If we look at the following Past Performance the #8 is not even close to having the top speed figure taken from Paceline selection. Note: to the left of the PP Date has a "#" and that is the PL that is taken in the velocity selection. Now when we import the PL selections to the velocity computation device thingy the #8 is projected to finish almost 1 second ahead of the 2nd place horse. Plus it gets top Velocity Score and AP rating. This worked out well for me last Saturday at LS where 5/10 horses were ranked #1 on projected finsh time, and 9/10 were in the top 3 projected finish times.

It is amazing, Glen. Had a $70 horse at MNR recently same thing plus impact had it as an +19
on nESD.

Felt stupid after race today because was aware of it and aware of Chavez on turf longshots.
Got wrapped up in Bailey's show record and disengaged brain. Somebody kick me!!

Yeah George, last week was AWSOME for Edif and Ev. This week I am getting POUNDED!!! Good and bad thing about the $52 horse today. Picked but didn't play it. Was planning on playing a tri ticket on it with the 8 on top and 1 on bottom but no 10!!! Good thing is I saved $24 bucks and bad is I didn't bet #8 to win. But what else is new in my wagering life...Now I know why you smart ones play to win/place and stay out of the exotic stuff.

Glen,
What paceline mode were you using for Lone Star on Saturday?

Thanks,
Cliff

Cliff,

Manual PL selection. I find using PRAT in conjuction with HTR PP <Screen 5> work best for me. That way I can observe form cycles, trainer changes, layoffs, comments and so on better than just using regular PP <screen 5>. I might pick anywhere from 1 to 4 PLs/horse. If you would like more details let me know.

Yes, Glen,

Would like to know more if you wouldn't mind sharing. I had noticed that I was having a high percentage of
winners fall into the top three on the velocity printout at Lone Star as well. Just couldn't quite come up with the
numbers you quoted since I had mostly used Paceline Mode 5. I don't have a clue how to do the manual selection and combine it with Prat, etc.

E-mail is cliffhartnitt@home.com if you'd rather go that way.

Thanks again,
Cliff
