SAR Aug Contest wrap up

Our Aug contest sorta petered out. Don't know the final results but I think Carl won. great pickin Carl. Hurricane make a big move down the stretch with that pick 4 he hit at the end.
George was in the black with the dutches. Glen was in the black as well (I think)

My congratulations to Carl also. Saratoga has some great boxcar payoffs every year and Carl did a great job of picking off several of them. And Hurrikane made a nice hit on the p4 at the end. Think 'Kane was distracted by w**k for much of the contest.

Found the "dutch" to be interesting and was very surprised to see it show a profit. Not a true "dutch" as I did not have time to monitor odds and adjust bets. Just guessed on odds ahead of time.

I know Carl cashed some "real ones" and hope he gets paid by the Jamacains.

Congrats to Carl....made some great pics at the Spa buddy...very impressive. Unfortumately I'm on the outs with the online betting..bad vibes...so I"ve been making the run to the simul daily to put in bets..between that and work it's been a very busy month....hopefully I will get the straightened out soon. Was moving to ESB but not now.....Good luckn with those guys Carl.

Thanks guys, lucky sometimes, not lucky sometimes.

Contest was fun, never thought I would come out any good half way through when I was sitting at $0.50 ROI.

But then I did the thing I like to do that Glen hates, bunker down, cut back my bets till things started going better, then getting lucky with a few $20-$30 horses with max bets. Sometimes this works, sometimes it don't, but even in the bad times it at least keeps me ALIVE, which is to me the first thing every gambler has to be concerned about.

And thanks for the offer Hurrikane, I'll take a rain check till next year Vegas, you can bring me a T-shirt or a blonde or something then buddy.......
