Hard day yesterday but as Glen pointed out could of been worse. Carl ran this play on 38000 races and found that long-term it is breakeven. Gonna post it through 100 races just for fun. Play can be improved by wagering only longer odds and trainers with impact rating below 4. Long term roi is also much better on dirt routes than sprints.

Congrats George, been an OK day for me, not quite back-to-back homers like you @ Pim.
I didn't realize Pimlico was 'in play'.
Cool & the Indians won again for me & MD.

Carl & MtKen, thanks got lucky. Carl, am convinced by your runs on larger data that long term this play will peter out to small profit or loss. Also surprised by your findings on dirt routes using it. My little 8500 race db indicated a bright future on routes.
Glen once quoted an article stating the average "play" used by a horseplayer lasts 2 days. Three days is probably enough for this one. Was kinda neat for a 2 factor query.
