MTH Today, Race 6...Thoughts?

Anybody have a strong opinion about this race? Think #12 will be a scratch. Looks like to me #3 and #7 are the contenders but not even close to feeling comfortable about it. Any thoughts?

Think # 11 is the key. Top Trainer and second lasix. Nice impact RES numbers.

Mix with 3,7,8 and maybe 6 in exotics.

# 8 early speed might hold up for second??

As I'm sure you know..while the 3 looks good this t/j combo...20-1. I guess even a blind pig can root up an acorn..but 2 acorns, I don't know. Outside of that the horse seems ok but not exciting. Not crazy about a horse that pops his MDN in a 25k and then want to race with the big daddies...where he hasn't been competitive since.

As for the 7..he's never really been competitive at this level..and I dont' think he ever will. He showed his worth breaking a M25 at ATL of all places.

If I had to play this race...and I wouldn't (I'm guessing it's in the P4),I think I would take the 11. lightly raced..been competing at this level ok..good trn...competitive pace presser with a macho name. :D

Add to him the 2...strong jockey change here..watch out.

the 6 has some advantages and a good switch on the jock..but no turf...maybe a 'b' horse..in this field he has a shot.
the 2 or the 9 I might one as an 'a' and one as a 'b'..probably the 2 but it doesn't matter which.

No HKane, didn't matter...I got dusted in race 5
