Much grumbling at Churchill. The weekly handicapping tournament went really well in the new facility, but last week, some ding-dong decided to move the HC tournamnet to a dark, indoor,simulcast facility (with no windows) and no way to see the live racing. I never heard so much complaining about a brand new facility and then not let people use it.
The marketing dept needs help.
The Silks Room where the tourn. was last week was hardly half full as one might expect on a non busy Wed.
The talk is Churchill did a lot for the heavy hitters, but still has little regard for the daily $2 better. Maybe nothing changed after all.
