Interesting tote action in today's 1st at Hollywood.
The race is complete and #6 (the winner) has roughly $72,000 on her to win.
The 6 had caused an @2-3 minute delay loading into the gate as she was acting in the manner that many Storm Cat's do.
There was a 10-11 minute delay in posting the payoffs for the race, and lo and behold, the 6 ended up with only $65k on her nose.
Must have been a whole lotta panicky chalk players making last minute (or later)cancellations while the filly was pitching her fit.
Interestingly, the place pool (as a whole) got larger and the show pool lost a few k during the same time period.
