Who here re-exports at least one-year's worth of files whenever there's a significant program change?

it's like a friggin ritual. I keep thinking of easier ways to do it...but there's not.

I re-export my database from 01/01/2003 twice when there is a change. Once for HX4 and once for HX7. It's a ritual but no fun. :D

Me too. It's the only way to do it. A royal pain, but I can't think of any other way to be historically correct.

I was pretty sure that there were still a lot of people doing that. I used to, but I've been away from it for almost all of 2004 and the first two months of this year. Now I'll have to rebuild everything from scratch. Oh well, not the first time.

I suspect that Ken will have some changes at the July meeting that will require re-doing the database again. :p
Not a complaint, just a comment.

I think you have to expect it and plan ahead for it to make it as easy as possible on yourself.
But it is still work. :)

Even though it is alot of work, I kind of like it because there is usually some figure or concept that the general public isn't using that is being updated.
