I B going Greg will see you and Sue Thursday at the tourney. Yo won't be able to make it to the Orleans on Wed night this time though. Will be sitting with Tommy in the 2nd room (where the buffet is) - look for us. I'm guessing fairly low turnout this time, maybe 700, and most of the HTR players are holding out until July at the Gold Coast.

How about some deja vu for that time you won the day on a Thursday @ Orleans and collected $3500 before Sue got off the plane!

I"m coming with game ken. Planning on taking home some serious money.

Seem 700 has been about the norm in the spring. Looks like they have the usual selection of chalk tracks too. Hopefully GP and HAW will be pumping out the longshots.

I'll be there - arriving early evening on Wednesday. Would love to be competitive. When I entered a week or so ago I got the impression that entries were way down - unless I heard wrong I thing she said they had less than 200 at that point. I'd appreciate any pointers about where to seek a seat and such stuff.

Heard today that rooms are full at the Orleans.
It's spring break, and it will be tough to find a cheap room anywhere else in town.
Try the Gold Coast, Palace Station or Stardust if you are stuck.

They have less than 600 entries so far in the contest. That can be good or bad depending on your perspective. The have "guaranteed" 50 spots for the WSH in January, so few people increases everyone's chances. On the other hand, the prize money will be less. I'm guessing they'll have 700 entries by Thursday's kick off.
