With the new update, I am having difficulty printing the full card out in the "larger
print landscape" mode. The info to the right, of the right PN, is off the page in
the portrait mode. Any suggestions? I can print one race at a time in landscape,
but not the full card. Is there a fix??

I'll check it out Bob, perhaps the font is one size too large in the Full Card mode. Will send a fix to Ricks asap and leave a message here - thanks.

Bob, are you talking about the Program Screen? When I print it in Landscape (Large Print) mode I have a full inch of space on the right. The listed fontsize =8, which should fit easily on any printer or paper and leave plenty of room with 3 races per page.
The PRINT REPORT (single race print) does a larger Font Size = 9 printout for the Landscape since it only has to print 1 race per page, so the FULL CARD PRINT will be slightly smaller size characters and less space and should have worked ok on your printer.
???
Re-boot the computer and turn off/on the printer, try it again and let me know what happens.
Ricks and 'Dee, please print out a Program Screen card using Large Print Landscape and let me know if you experience any problems with fit.

Yes, KM, I'm talking about the program screen...printing the full card.
When I check the landscape box....and do full card...they come out
in the portrait format...not landscape. The $$'s col does not print
out in portrait...to wide for the margin.
If I only print one race at a time the landscape works fine...tis a puzzle!

Don't know what to say Bob - I'm printing SA Friday right now from the Program Screen FULL CARD "Large Print" - it comes out perfect in Landscape mode. ???? Sorry, I'm perplexed. The program code is also clearly set to Landscape for the Large Print option. Maybe someone else will verify what's happening one way or another, so far not reported a a bug by other users.

I just tried with HP 6L
Be sure you are checking the box inside the Print Full Report and not the one on the Pgm Screen.
In Print Full Card, print Large, it prints great.
In regular Print Full Card everything gets cut off after the Pn.
Just tried it on my Cannon ip4000.
Same results.

Ok, I redownloaded the 8 Feb exe, and the landscape full card now
works ok...but as Ricks said above, the last col in the portrait mode,
is still cut off. I guess the landscape way is the way to go. Thanks.

thx bob and rick for the feedback on the printing
my printer margins must be set at smaller range on the standard 8.5x11 (Potrait) because the entire screen fits fine and everything is visible to the right on the Program Screen Full Card print. Maybe I can cut 4 or 5 spaces and adjust it for standard margins.

Ken,
Printing in Portrait mode is cutting off column after Pn. I love th XF addition. It helps with decision to single these favs in P3 or to skip for better opportunities. Thanks.

Hi Ken;
I have the identical problem with landscape. I have an HP Laser 1200. It prints fine in any other application I use. When I print one race report only, Landscape no problem. As soon as I try the full card it reverts to Portrait, no matter what else I do.
I have Adobe Acrobat and can go in and do my page setup as Landscape and as long as I leave it that way, with Acrobat open, it affects everything else I print, no matter the software--BUT, not in HTR. Go figure?
It's more a mild annoyance than a problem.
I haven't tried printing to a file, opening it in Word or Acrobat and resaving in a format other than text and don't intend to. Too much bother, for what's a minor quibble.

Glad you chimed in Fraser. Must be those printers in Canada and that "zed" issue that won't let you print in Landscape! I was in BC summer before last, and the real landscapes are something special up there though.
Anyway, try this =
1) REboot the computer; turn off/on the printer.
2) Delete HTR2.exe from the c:\htr folder.
3) Download the update again. This worked for BobStark.
4) Now try to print with the Large.
Makes no sense to me if it doesn't work because I can't make it NOT work when the Large is checked-off. Except for these posts, no other HTR users have reported this problem tom me, so I hope it is not pervasive. The Visual Basic code in the program is simple: Printer.Orientation = 2 (landscape). But that is a Windows system call for hardware, and hardware/printing bugs are notoriously complex to figure out.
