Congrats and best of luck and skill to HTR subscribers -->
TimH, MMcKee, MikeMayo, Cliff and Glen as they head to Vegas for the NTRA/DRF tournament finals at Ballys on Fri and Sat this week.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it out for our traditional HTR get-together with the NTRA qualifiers, but I'll be in Vegas the next week to see most of you for the WSH. We'll be following the results and standings on DRF.com, hope you guys will relate your experience here when you return.
Here is my advice to all HTR Vegas tournament players -->
Tune out all the rumor, b.s., yelling, screaming and apparent celebrations of others: "i heard Joe Blow already five cap winners ! .." Stay focused and patient and work your way slowly toward a point goal that is reasonable for a top 10 finish. The critical turning point of any Vegas tourney will occur in the afternoon, rarely in the morning, hold those optional play bullets as long as possible. Stay out of the wasteland that is AQUi and PIM before noon and wait for the inevitable prices that will occur at OP, GP and FG in the afternoon. Save a bullet or two for SA, which is not a great longshot track, but usually has a dramatic impact on the final standings for those that hold out until the end when most the other players are out of ammo.
Excellent news story on the whole event at DRF.com =
