I saw the Compaq iPaq and the Cassiopeia and was wondering if I could load Prat and Impact into them. The guy behind the CompUSA counter said I couldn't put a DOS based program in them. Would HTR2001 work in there? I was hoping I could stop lugging my laptop with me to the racetrack. The pocket PCs looked like they would be perfect to bring to the racetack.

The trouble is downloading files, not running DOS-based programs. I bought a Windows CE device to take to DMR last year, and found that the version of Internet Explorer loaded doesn't do Java, and I'm not sure if the newer Pocket PC version does or not. I suggest you try to connect to the HTR site from the store, and see how it works.

Pocket PC probably won't work. How about a laptop. Not to expensive especially if you
buy used or stripped down.
