Well, my friend was trying to export to excel and he gets a message file not exported. We check for the exported file anyway and it is found but there is no data in in. i.e. we export crc05_hx4, found it, imported it to excel and it was not found. also did the same with crc05_hx5 with same result, any answers.

Try the File, Open and change to file type text.

That opens the Wizard.

It also looks like you have the Microsoft default setting of not displaying extension of know file types still set to the default.

To me that is a stupid default and should be one of the first changes anyone makes to a new computer.

Open up Windows Explorer, click on Tools, Folder Options, View, and uncheck the box for "Hide extensions for known file types". Then click on OK

It makes things much easier for us. :D

hi OPM,

You have confirmed that the exporter's message was CORRECT! That is, the file has no data. This could be interpreted as a bug in the exporter because the empty file was not deleted. Oh, check the size of the file and I expect you will find either zero kilobytes or a VERY small number.

So, AWOL says:

A. Check the parameters for your export

B. IF A still fails, THEN use more data, that is, try ALL

C. IF B still fails, THEN try a different track

D as in ddaaahh. accept that YOU have a bug

Eeek post results for another HTR user to try it.

I do expect you will do no more than step B.
